What we collect, and what we don't.
This explains exactly what happens to your information when you use this website or book a repair. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.
Last updated 21 September 2026
The short version
We collect your name and phone number when you ask us to come and fix something, because we cannot arrange a visit without them. We do not sell your information, we do not advertise to you, and we do not track who you are as you browse the site.
Who is responsible
Salehle, a home repair and improvement business operating in Beirut and Mount Lebanon. You can reach us on +961 78 842 570 or through WhatsApp at the same number for anything relating to your information.
What we collect when you book
When you submit a booking request, we collect:
- Your name, so the technician knows who they are meeting.
- Your phone number, so we can confirm a time and reach you on the day.
- The service you need and your area, so we can send the right person.
- Anything you type in the description box, which is optional.
That is the entire form. We deliberately do not ask for your address, email, budget, or property details at this stage. Anything else we need, we ask on the phone.
What we collect while you browse
We measure how the website performs so we can improve it. This information is anonymous and does not identify you. Specifically, we record:
- Which pages are opened, and which buttons are tapped.
- Whether you arrived from Google, Instagram, Facebook, or typed the address directly.
- Whether you are on a phone or a computer.
- A random code stored only for the duration of your visit, so that opening five pages is counted as one visit rather than five.
We do not record your name, phone number, IP address, precise location, or any device fingerprint, and we do not combine this information with your booking. We cannot tell who any individual visitor is, and we have not built the ability to.
The random visit code is deleted by your browser when you close the tab.
The chat assistant
The chat window on this website is an AI assistant. When you send a message, the conversation is passed through our hosting provider to an AI service, which writes the reply. The assistant only knows what is on this website. It cannot see your bookings or anyone else's.
We do not keep your conversation. It stays in your browser tab and disappears when you close it. To prevent abuse we count how many messages are sent each day, linked only to a random code that your browser deletes when you close the tab. Those counts are deleted after seven days.
If you ask the assistant to send a visit request, the details you confirm (your name, phone number, the service, your area and a short description of the problem) are saved as a booking, exactly as if you had used the booking form. Please do not type anything sensitive, such as passwords or bank details, into the chat.
Photographs of work
We sometimes publish photographs of completed jobs on this website and on social media. We ask the customer's permission before publishing any photograph of their home, and we frame out anything that would identify a person or an address. If we have published a photograph of your home and you would like it removed, tell us and we will take it down.
Why we are allowed to hold this
We hold your booking details because you asked us to arrange a repair and we cannot do that without them. We hold anonymous usage figures on the basis of our legitimate interest in knowing whether the website works. Because the usage figures identify nobody, they carry no personal risk to you. We process chat messages only to answer the questions you choose to send.
Who else sees it
Your booking is visible to the owner of the business and to the technician assigned to your job. Nobody else.
We do not sell, rent or share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or any other company for their own purposes. We use a hosting and database provider to run this website and store bookings securely on our behalf; they process the data only to provide that service to us.
If you use the chat assistant, your messages are processed by the AI service that writes its replies, only to answer you. That provider may keep messages for a short period under its own policies, for example to prevent misuse.
Where it is stored
Our booking records are stored on servers located in the European Union, which operates under stricter data protection rules than are currently required in Lebanon. Information sent to and from this website is encrypted in transit.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records for as long as we may reasonably need them for warranty, follow-up visits, and our own accounting obligations, and we delete them when that period ends. Anonymous usage figures are kept indefinitely because they identify nobody.
If you ask us to delete your booking record sooner, we will, unless we are required to keep it for tax or legal reasons.
Your rights
Under Lebanese Law No. 81 of 2018 on Electronic Transactions and Personal Data, you may ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
- Delete your information.
- Stop contacting you.
Call or message +961 78 842 570 and say what you want. We will not ask you to fill in a form or explain why. We aim to deal with it within thirty days.

Changes
If we change what we collect, we will update this page and change the date at the top. We will not start collecting something new and quietly leave this page as it was.
